A scrunchy nose and a raised-bed garden....

What a day!! Here are some pictures of us preparing our first-EVER garden. Last summer, our neighbor went out of town for 10 days and offered for us to pick in her garden while she was away so that things would not go to waste. Greyson thought it was so much fun...so much fun that mommy and daddy decided to give it a go this summer. This is borderline hilarious seeing how neither of us have green thumbs nor the ability to keep anything green alive!!! We're ambitious though. Once we have the "last frost", we're headed to the farmer's market to pick out some plants....tomatoes, cukes, yellow squash, zucchini and peppers. We shall see. Greyson had fun helping daddy fill the bed (with 2 tons of dirt!) and Miss Emery had fun supervising. She loves honking the horn in Greyson's coupe car....isn't she so cute with her scrunchy nose!!!! If only she had her sunglasses....

There are just no words....

to describe this face!!!! (She loves pizza!)

Eggstra FUN!!!

We dyed Easter eggs this night. It was our first time doing them and Greyson thought it was fun. He was a little disappointed that there were only 12! He wrote some "secret messages" on some! I think they turned out pretty well! Tomorrow is Easter morning and we are going to make "Resurrection rolls" for breakfast. We love Peter Cottontail but want to also remember the REAL reason for Easter!!!!

Divalicious Curls!

It appears that Miss Emery's hair might just have some curl to it!!! Here is a picture of the back of her head and some of her in her pink sunglasses. She is a "hoot" in her glasses! Yesterday she wore them the whole time in the grocery store...she probably kept them on because of all of the attention she was getting. She is "divalicious"!!!!

Lunch on the Patio!

We stayed out here all day it seemed. We enjoyed lunch outside. Emery loves being out here because normally when she is outside, she is carried or in the stroller or her little coupe car. She loved having a change of scenery...and she loves sitting with her brother! Isn't she so cute when she scrunches her nose??

Craft time on the patio!

Since the weather has been beautiful, we have been spending A LOT of time outside. Today it was threatening rain and so we stayed on the patio. We had craft time out there. Greyson made a bead necklace for our neighbor (who put it on right away and was still wearing it when we saw her later! She is awesome!) and Emery played with her blocks, practicing putting them "in" her bowl. She is so smart and was so proud of herself when she listened and put them in! Enjoy the pics!
